Hey, I made some potholders this week! Good potholder patterns can be hard to come by if you are of the non-crochet variety. I had some from a drops design pattern fail miserably (yamakas?), but this pattern from Knit Picks turned out great, with worsted yarn held double.
These are for Jen and John, two friends who are getting married in under a month. Exciting! I only wish we could attend. But besides another family wedding next month and a wedding shower that same weekend, Ben has finals and grading nonstop until June. So these were sent off today, tucked inside a recipe box with some of my favorite recipes and a slow cooker for the kitchen.
Spring is on the way....
